Ergonomics
The Suprascan Quartz A0 LED features a complete workstation for handling fragile books and poster, easily and safely. The scanner is packed with accessories for convenient use: CCD camera, LED lighting, control station (PC, etc.), ergonomic table, book cradle (suitable for scanning to thicknesses of up to 40 cm / 40 kg – BC40), USB foot switch and colour test pattern. With the bundled new software, YooScan, the Suprascan Quartz A0 LED features an intuitive interface allowing you to perform even complex scanning jobs easily, in any production environment.
Image processing and features
The Suprascan Quartz A0 LED offers new LED lighting featuring major enhancements: embossed detail enhancement, anti-glare system, lighting only during the scan, etc.
With no heat, infrared or UV emissions, convenient use and document conservation are guaranteed. Its new motorised height-adjustable book cradle, with its automatic A0 glass cover pressure control feature, has been designed to maximise bound document conservation.
Performance
The Suprascan Quartz A0 LED is a production book scanner for A0 format (1250 mm x 870 mm) suitable for scanning in B&W, grayscale and colour. It is available in 2 versions: Quartz A0 LED with an optical resolution of 300 x 300 dpi in A0 format and Quartz A0 HD LED, with an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. It is capable of scanning a book in 2xA1 format in 22.5 seconds at 400 dpi colour and in 34 seconds at 600 dpi. What is more, the Suprascan Quartz A0 LED is "Metamorfoze" compatible, and is thus compliant with specifications based on international guidelines, including image conservation technical criteria and tolerances.
