The Fujitsu fi-7030 is a compact and quiet document scanner which is capable of scanning A4 documents at a speed of 27 ppm. Easy to use and ergonomic, it is an efficient scanner for handling paper documents in small and medium-sized businesses.
 

Ergonomics
With its silent operation, compact design and small footprint, the fi-7030 is ideal for all office environments and fits even on small desks or counters. The scanner provides excellent paper handling, using independent driving rollers for better alignment of documents during scanning (Mechanical Deskew).

Features
The bundled PaperStream IP driver optimises image quality upon capture. Additionally the Fujitsu fi-7030 comes with two software packages designed for either regular or occasional use: PaperStream Capture (on DVD) and ScanSnap Manager for fi Series (available for download).

PaperStream Capture is easy to use batch scan software which manages scan profiles, indexes, sorts and releases documents. ScanSnap Manager for fi-series allows ad-hoc scanning and can be used to scan in PDF or JPEG format, but also to generate Word, Excel and PowerPoint files from your scanned documents. Like all fi-series models, the Fujitsu fi-7030 includes a remote administration tool for managing several scanners (driver and software update management, consumables management, maintenance, etc.).

Performance
With a speed of 27 pages / min (colour, greyscale or black and white), its 50-sheet automatic document feeder and ultrasonic double feed detection, the Fujitsu fi-7030 is the perfect entry level scanner for all daily scanning tasks in the office. Fujitsu fi-7030 is capable of scanning A4 documents from 40 to 209 g/m2 and even documents up to A3 can be scanned folded in half using a protective carrier sheet.
